Gautam Buddha University (GBU) was established in the year 2008 under Uttar Pradesh Gautam Buddha University Act 2002 UP Act No.9 of 2002. The University is a pioneering institution dedicated to the responsibility making the country stand tall at the global platform. The university is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC).

The University offers the variety of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in multiple disciplines. Gautam Buddha University Admission is done through entrance exams, applicants have to appear for the entrance exams, GPTU, GPT and GPTR conducted by the university.

Gautam Buddha University Courses Offered

The university runs undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Biotechnology and Buddhist Studies. It has BA, BA Hons, B.Sc., B.Tech, B.Arch, BALLB and BSW at UG level and MA, M.Tech, M.Sc., MSW, LLM and MDRA at PG level. GBU also offers integrated courses such as B.Tech+M.Tech, B.Tech+MBA and BA Hons+MA.

Gautam Buddha University Admission

The university offers various courses at UG, PG and doctoral level. The basic eligibility for undergraduate courses is class 12 in relevant stream with not less than 50% marks from a reputed board while for postgraduate programs, applicants must have a graduate degree in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university or institute. Those who wish to apply for Ph.D. or M.Phil. Programs should have master’s degree.

Registration for all courses offered by Gautam Buddha University is done through online mode only. Eligible and Interested candidates can submit the application form on official website of GBU.

Gautam Buddha University Admission is done through entrance exams namely- GPTU, GPT and GPTR conducted by the university while for some courses, the admission is done on the basis of merit only. For Ph.D. and M.Phil. Admission, applicants also need to appear an interview round.
